EOI Open: DSR Board Positions
Disability, Sport and Recreation Ltd (DSR) is currently seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for suitably qualified persons to join the DSR board.
We focus on understanding the many needs and goals of people with disability. We can then support and work with government, disability providers, sport and recreation organisations, and the broader community, to increase choice, access and participation.
It is an exciting time for the organisation after the opening of its newly developed offices in Fitzroy, Victoria, recently celebrating the organisations 60th birthday, a newly appointed CEO and 2023 is the year for the development of DSR’s new 3 year strategy.
Due the completion of the terms of existing members, the Board seeks to appoint up to three (3) new members including:
· 2 General members
· 1 Chair of the Finance Risk and Audit Committee
Board Members are appointed for an initial three year term, with the option of further renewal. DSR strongly encourages applicants with a disability to apply for these roles.

*Please note this is a voluntary role. The Board currently meets six times per year (approx 2 hours) and FRAC an additional seven times per year (approx 1.5 hours online). Board meetings are in person. In additional we have an annual awards night.
