Disability Sport & Recreation is pleased to announce that expressions of interest are now open for our 2024 DSR Kids Summer Camp!

Next year’s camp will return to the award-winning, YMCA Camp Manyung in Mount Eliza from Friday 16th – Sunday 18th February. Our Summer Camp is open to children aged 7 to 17 with disability, and provides an opportunity for participants to experience a range of adventure and non-adventure activities in a fun and supportive environment.
Accessible adventure activities include the treetops course, giant swing, flying fox, archery and a scavenger hunt. If that’s not enough, the camp also features bike riding activities, pizza making, sports games, movie night and perhaps even a beach visit!
The experienced team of YMCA instructors and DSR camp volunteers will be on hand to ensure our campers feel comfortable and empowered to step out of their comfort zone and try the incredible activities on offer. Our DSR Kids camps are renowned for helping participants to build independence and confidence, improve social skills, form friendships and make lifelong memories. This of course would not be possible without the amazing support of our volunteer nurses and care team, many of whom have attended our camps for more than five years.
For more information on our camps including video highlights from previous years, please visit our DSR Kids page: https://www.dsr.org.au/dsr-kids.
Expressions of Interest close on 10th January 2024.
