Getting to the Wheelchair Rugby National League Melbourne Invitational

Getting to Cobblebank Stadium

The event is at Cobblebank Stadium, corner of Ferris and Bridge Roads, Cobblebank.

Please note: as there is no footpath on the right side of the road (in the above image) we suggest people cross the road at the lights (highlighted red) as a safer route if walking.

We encourage everyone to come to the festival by public transport, if possible.

Travelling from by V/Line from Southern Cross Station (Melbourne CBD)

  • Catch the Melbourne - Ballarat via Melton regional V/Line train.  This route will take 36 minutes and pass 4 stops (Footscray, Sunshine, Ardeer and Caroline Springs) before arriving at Cobblebank Station.

  • From Cobblebank Station, you can then catch the 454 Bus to Melton RS. Get off at Astley Dr/Bridge Rd (Strathtulloh).

  • Alternatively, you may also choose to walk to the stadium. From Cobblebank Station, continue along Coach St for 262m (approx. 4 minutes), then turn left on Ferris Rd to continue for 368m (approx. 6 minutes). Arrive at Cobblebank Stadium.

Travelling by car

The address is Ferris Road, however, the centre can only be accessed from Stadium Drive. If coming from Melbourne way, follow Ferris Road until you read Hollingsworth Drive and turn right, then left at Stadium Drive.

There is ample parking at Cobblebank Stadium, with 345 car spaces with an additional 7 disabled car spaces and 2 electric car charging stations.   All which is accessible off Stadium Drive.

Travelling from within Melton (FlexiRide)

  • If you are travelling from within Melton, we recommend getting to the stadium by FlexiRide, as it is a great and convenient alternative to travelling by car.
